Hey all, this is the first of a five part series, listing five top tips on how to save some moolah! (that’s cash, to those people who are not down with it haha). Okay, well let’s get started:
- When Was The Last Time You Visted The Market? Sure, supermarkets are handy…. but when was the last time you actually visted an outside market? Most places around the world have them, and they are generally cheaper and contain more fresh produce. Save yourself money today, and go and shop at your local market
- Transfer Your Credit Card Balance -Are you paying interest on your credit card? If so, then consider transferring your balance to an issuer that has 0% on balance transfers. There are plenty of them, search on google and I’m confident that you’ll find a ton of them. Once the free interest period runs out, transfer the balance again
- The National Lottery - It Probably Won’t Be You! Come on, so many of you guys out there are paying for lottery tickets when you are in debt, for that 14 MILLION to one chance that you’re gonna win the lottery. Not to shoot down a glimmer of hope, but i’d save your money, and either reduce the amount of times that you buy a lottery ticket, or just don’t buy one at all, until you can afford them
- Don’t Be a Hoarder, Sell Your Treasure! If you’re one of these people who horde clutter, free up some cash and sell it on ebay. Selling stuff on ebay really helped me out financially, and gave me a start in clearing my debt a couple of years ago. Go. Get yourself an account on eBay and get started!
- Make Your Own Lunch For Work - Do you know I was paying £5 to £10 per day during my lunch time once? Well that figure is greatly reduced now that I cook my lunch the night before work. Invest in some cheap plastic tubs, and when you cook, cook for like 10 people, and freeze loads of it. There you go, lunch for a week or so. If you don’t like cooking, then make some sandwiches! You will defintely save money this way. Go for it.
Well that’s it for Money Saving Tips Part 1, look out for Part 2 coming soon………
